Q: What is your minimum stay requirement?
A: Our minimum stay is 2 nights, with a 3-night minimum during holiday periods and peak summer season.
Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: Reservations can be made through our website, Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, or by contacting us directly via email.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made 30+ days before arrival receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations 14-29 days before arrival receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 14 days before arrival.
Check-In & Check-Out
Q: What are your check-in and check-out times?
A: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee depending on scheduling.
Q: How do I access the cabin?
A: Prior to your arrival, we’ll send detailed instructions with a door code to access our electronic keypad entry system.
Q: Is there someone on-site?
A: We don’t have staff on-site, but our property manager is available by phone for emergencies and questions.
Q: What are we expected to do before checking out?
A: Please:
- Wash and put away any used dishes
- Place all trash in the outdoor bins
- Turn thermostat to 55°F in winter or 75°F in summer
- Lock all windows and doors
- Text our property manager when you’ve departed
Q: How is the cleaning fee used?
A: The cleaning fee covers laundering of linens, sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, and preparing the cabin for the next guests.

A: Yes, we provide complimentary Wi-Fi. Cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier, but is generally reliable near the cabin.
Q: Is the cabin air-conditioned?
A: The cabin has central heating but no air conditioning. We provide fans during summer months, though the mountain elevation keeps temperatures comfortable even in peak summer.
Q: Does the cabin have a fireplace?
A: Yes! The cabin features a handsome indoor fireplace and whimsical outdoor fire pit.
Q: What kitchen amenities are provided?
A: Our fully-equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, and basic spices/condiments.

A: Yes, the cabin has a washer and dryer with complimentary laundry detergent.
Q: Is the cabin pet-friendly?
A: Yes, we do allow pets to accommodate our guests entire family.

A: Duck Creek Village has a small general store for basics. For full grocery shopping, we recommend stopping in Cedar City (40 minutes away) or Kanab (1 hour away) before arriving.

A: Summer temperatures typically range from 70-85°F during the day and 45-55°F at night. Winter temperatures range from 25-40°F during the day and can drop to 10-20°F at night.

Q: What’s your maximum occupancy?
A: The cabin comfortably sleeps 12 guests with the maximum occupancy of 12 guests.
Q: Are there any quiet hours?
A: Yes, quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to respect our neighbors and local wildlife.
Q: What items should we bring?
A: We provide linens, towels, and basic toiletries. You should bring personal items, specialized cooking ingredients, and appropriate outdoor gear for planned activities.
Q: Is smoking allowed?
A: No smoking of any kind is permitted inside the cabin or on the deck. A cleaning fee of $500 will be charged for violations.

A: The closest urgent care is in Panguitch (35 minutes away). The nearest hospital is in Cedar City (40 minutes away).

A: Yes, an evacuation map and emergency procedures are posted on the refrigerator and in each bedroom.
